Become a Volunteer

Canterbury Dressage operates by volunteers and we would not succeed without the generous personal time and effort provided by many people.

We always welcome and appreciate the help and support given whether it be for the big jobs or the small, we could not run our events without you.

We need help with:

• Writing for Judges at our events – You don’t have to be able to ride a horse or even know a lot about dressage, you only need to be competent at listening to the judge and writing down what they say. A great way to be involved if you love horses.  Also great if you are a rider – a great way to learn about what the judges look for and see from their place on the arena.

• Putting up Arenas – Usually done on the Friday before an event.

• Taking down Arenas – a job that needs done before we go home after an event.

• Committee – We always need new people to help run our group.  Not all jobs require you to come to the monthly meetings.
