Canterbury Dressage welcomes you to become a member.

We thought it would be nice to introduce our committee, with a small write up of where they started and where they are now.
First up we are starting with our riders rep's. We are lucky enough to have 2 of them. Being Sophie Griffith and Beth Condon being our youth riders rep.
Here we have Sophie's story. Beth's to follow. 🙂

Please riders, by all means approach these lovey young ladies with any query at all. In fact we encourage it. They are happy to help 🙂

Hi my name is Sophie Griffith and I am the rider’s rep for Canterbury Dressage.
I am a professional rider running my equestrian business SSG Equestrian from Leeston Canterbury.
I started riding at the age of 5 rising to 2 star Eventing over subsequent years.
My real passion now lies with dressage, I have produced my own horses up to young rider level and
South Island level 7 champion, and continue to ride at all levels. I school horses for others, sale on behalf and lessons.
I continue my training with Vanessa Way; I have a young team of horses who you will often see at Dressage.
If I can be of any help, pass on any queries you may have, thoughts on how things are running, please feel free to contact me.
Our horse truck is very visible at events please call in and say hi, if not contact me via Canterbury dressage , my SSG Equestrian facebook page or my web site www.ssgequestrian.com
Look forward to meeting up with you all.
Regards
Sophie
