From Dressage New Zealand

Sadly Amanda Condon is leaving us in her role as Partnership Facilitator soon, but we wish her well in her full time new role which enables her to follow a career path and her other passion. Good luck to Amanda and we thank her for the enthusiasm with which she has carried out this role, increasing sponsorship and funding, making national events viable and as affordable as possible for riders. We are all facing cost increases and this also applies to event delivery – the Evo Events Youth Festival will be Amanda’s final event. As Dressage reviews admin resources and seeks a replacement for Amanda, we have a VACANCY AS BELOW

  1. Marketing & Sponsorship Co-Ordinator for the Bates National Championships and CDI/Y March 22-25 2023 in Taupo.  Work towards this is underway, and will continue, but we are looking for someone to pick up this role as soon as possible and be available to come and work at the event in this capacity. Ideally this person will already have experience in this field, with great marketing and communication skills, a problem solver and a team player to work alongside the Event Manager and Dressage Sport Manager to deliver another great event for the dressage community of athletes, horses, officials, volunteers and the public. Experience in organising functions / catering etc would also be an asset.  There could  be a small remuneration paid plus expenses paid for this short term role.  There is the possibility this could be an ongoing part time paid role, but our first priority is the 2023 National Championships which is also a Paris OG qualifier, bringing international judges to NZL.

Also looking for a Young Rider Convenors NI/SI

Thank you to Lynda Dann in the South Island and the Waikato team including Dressage Board Chair & Marketing members, Georgia Paul, Leanne Smith, Anna Wilson in the NI  who put some great YR  camps  together this year. Both NI & SI roles are now vacant. If you, or know someone who has a passion for Young Rider Development  coupled with great organisational skills, please get them to contact the Sport Manager or Andrea Raves (tetch@xtra.co.nz)  and we can discuss the role with you in more detail.
