The first day of the Winter Series went ‘swimmingly’ and unfortunately that is just how it was.
We salute all you hardy riders that still came and competed on a less than pleasant day. The large majority of you all did come and brave the conditions and had a great day.
We had record entries, especially in the Un-registered section with some classes divided and our Lead Rein Section, with 5 riders, all completing their two tests in the rain.
The day went so smoothly with many offers of help throughout the day and a happy friendly vibe was felt and commented on by all.
Many riders thanked us and congratulated us on achieving just that.

Two Riders took advantage of our Mentoring Programme
Anya Holdaway, mentored by Emma Copplestone and Sarah Hollings mentored by Mandy Blokland.
Both these riders and support crews were thrilled with their mentoring experience and the Mentors loved helping them achieve their goals
Their success topped it off with Anya getting a 1st and 2nd and Sarah getting a 2nd and 3rd……..CONGRATULATIONS
Now we just have to look forward to ‘ fun in the sun’ this time round with day 2 of the Winter Series nearly upon us.
